Dos Pasos Ranch

George and Beth Kendall established Dos Pasos Ranch in 1997 in rural Cambria's fertile Santa Rosa Creek Valley. The ranch now produces several varieties of tree-ripened citrus, avocados, and vegetables on nearly 30 irrigated acres. Emphasis is placed on best management agricultural practices and sustainable methods, including use of mulch and cover crops, planting windbreaks and hedgerows, integrated pest management, and solar-powered pumping. The mild weather and long gentle growing season of coastal San Luis Obispo County contribute to the excellent flavor and quality of Dos Pasos Ranch produce. Additionally, the slow ripening of the citrus and avocados allows harvest of the fruit later in the season.
